Our Pastor
Jim grew up in a military family, moving from place to place with his parents, brothers, and sister as his father served our country. At the age of 17, Jim followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the United States Army, where he served three years on active duty.
Deeply patriotic, Jim firmly believes that freedom is never free. He carries that same conviction into his faith: the freedom we have in Christ came at a great price. Jesus willingly shed His blood on the cross so that we could be set free from the penalty of sin and death.
Jim accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 24 and has faithfully served Him ever since. Family is also at the heart of Jim’s life. He and his wife, Anne, have been married for 45 years, raised five children, and are blessed with six grandchildren.

Our Covenant & Mission
At G.R.O.W. Church, we believe:
There is one true God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God—“God-breathed” and written through human authors who were guided by the Holy Spirit. It is God’s truth and the foundation of our faith, beliefs, and daily lives. All people have sinned, resulting in eternal separation from God. Forgiveness and eternal life cannot be earned; they are gifts of God’s grace, received through personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is God with us. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He rose bodily from the grave on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will one day return visibly to the earth. At the end of time, the dead will be raised. Those who have been redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ will enter into eternal life, while those who are lost will face eternal separation from God. As the Church—the body of Christ—we are accountable to God and to one another. We are called to turn away from sin and live Spirit-filled lives that demonstrate His fruit:
“Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

It is both our privilege and our responsibility to take part in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission by sharing the Gospel and making disciples of all nations.

Our History
Founded in 2024, G.R.O.W. Church began as a beautiful vision shared by a small group of like-minded believers. Since then, we have grown into a thriving community of people who are passionate about their faith and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. After serving as a pastor at Red Oak Church in West Springfield, Massachusetts, Jim felt God calling him to begin a new church plant. Reflecting on that calling, Jim says:
“Starting a new church is so exciting. To see God working in the lives of His people is the greatest reward of all.”
The name G.R.O.W.—God’s Redemption, Our Worship—was placed on Jim’s heart by God. We worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, believing that true spiritual growth takes place when we worship in truth and seek God with all our hearts.
G.R.O.W. Church is a self-supporting congregation. Our ministry and outreach are made possible solely through the faithful contributions of our members and those who believe in our mission. Their generosity allows us to continue sharing the Gospel, serving our community, and creating a welcoming place where people can deepen their relationship with Christ.
When we seek God wholeheartedly and worship Him in spirit and truth, that is when we truly G.R.O.W.
Our Services
At G.R.O.W. Church, we offer weekly worship services, Bible studies, prayer groups, fellowship, and community outreach programs. Everything we do is designed to provide encouragement, support, and biblical guidance as individuals grow in their spiritual journey.
We believe in the importance of taking our thoughts captive and living each day for Christ. When we put Him at the center of our lives, we begin to experience genuine spiritual growth and transformation.
Come exactly as you are—there is no dress code at G.R.O.W. Church. God sees our hearts, not our clothing. Children are always welcome, and after each Sunday service, we invite everyone to stay and enjoy coffee, snacks, and fellowship.
